Course Description

Leading can be difficult, whether it is in your personal life, career, or both! Here at NATS, we have developed this course to teach you strategies and techniques that will bring your leadership skills to the next level. We believe that some of the key aspects to strong leadership include communication, conflict resolution, self-confidence, equality, and honoring every viewpoint.

Our all-female team of instructors will help you discover YOUR path to improving how you lead in this 3-day, transformational, online learning experience spanning the course of three weeks. You will be inspired to think differently while drawing from all learning styles to identify, enhance, and hone your best personal skillset in all aspects of your life.

Here is just a portion of what attendees will learn:

  • Leadership skills and techniques; including recognizing other’s perspectives, conflict resolution techniques, and communication skills
  • Personal strengths; including building confidence, equality, and work/life balance
  • Self-awareness; including coherence and resiliency

Deliverables: Attendees who complete the course will receive a NATS-issued Women Lead Certificate of Completion.

Who Should Attend: Women who have a primary role in a leadership position or are working to improve their leadership skills.

Meet the Instructors

Karen Hauck, Chief Operating Officer, Lead Instructor

Karen is a strong, passionate, and inspiring wife, mother, and professional with 20 years of experience in leadership positions throughout her career in various industries. She joined NATS in 2016 and is currently the Chief Operating Officer where her responsibilities include being chair of B Corps and serving as a member of the advisory board. After attending and instructing multiple Empower the Educator courses for NATS, she is excited to help you discover your path forward in leadership.

Rebecca Seibel, Director of Training, Lead Instructor 

Rebecca is a motivated, passionate, and enthusiastic woman with over 24 years of experience, which in March of 2018 earned her the Leadership Award from the Minnesota Chapter of ISA. She joined NATS in 2018 and was recently promoted to Director of Training. Rebecca brings a unique perspective to this course since she has worked in various roles within a team throughout her career, including ground worker, team/crew management, and business owner. She knows from her experience that personal growth happens best when all people are in a safe and fun work environment. She is excited to help you reach the ultimate goal of cultivating the team you want by helping you become the type of leader you want to be.

  • In consideration of mutual covenants expressed herein, North American Training Solutions ("Company"), and Participant ("Participant"), agree in exchange for the fee paid by Participant/Employer/Other, Company will provide certain Training as described below and incorporated in this Participant Registration, Release, Waiver and Hold Harmless Agreement ("Agreement"). Participant represents they have reached the age of majority in the state/province where Training shall occur and is participating upon their free will. Participant also understands attending Training does not qualify them to instruct others, to hold themself out as an expert in the Training topic or represent they are qualified to conduct Training or provide any expertise in the topic.

    All materials distributed by Company are protected under United States Copyright Laws. Any duplication, modification, or distribution of same is strictly prohibited. This Agreement shall be binding on Participant, their heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators & personal representatives. This paragraph shall survive the termination of Agreement and Participant instructs their spouse, children, heirs and estate to honor this paragraph.

  • I hereby grant full and knowing consent to North American Training Solutions (“Company”) the rights and privilege under federal and state(s) laws to use my image, likeness, and sound of my voice as recorded on audio, video or any other reproduction method without payment or any other consideration or compensation. I understand that my image may be edited, copied, exhibited, published or distributed for multiple purposes including but not limited to advertising, marketing, sales and training purposes, and may be used in diverse educational settings within an unrestricted geographic area, may be used on the world wide web (Internet), and in both public and private settings, in for-profit and not-for-profit companies and government settings, from the date entered below until either the end of time or until I submit in writing a written revocation of this consent.
  • I also waive the right to inspect or approve the released image of my likeness or voice recording prior to its use or notice of its use. Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation, if any, arising or related to the use of my image or voice recording.
  • I understand this consent, waiver and release form will continue in effect until it is revoked in writing and mailed to 165 Village St. Medway, MA 02053. Any use of my image or voice prior to the date the Company receives the revocation, or any images or voice recordings already in use will not be retracted. Revocation will only apply to future use in new venues.
  • I acknowledge that I have completely read and fully understand the above consent, waiver and release and agree to be bound thereby. I hereby release any and all claims against any person or organization, including but not limited to the Company using my image or voice recording.

    • Due to its structure and digital offering, this course will be live and no recordings will be provided.
    • No refunds will be made once course materials have been mailed to participants (based on postmarked date).
    Age of Majority: Each participant must be over the age of majority in the state in which the course is being held
    Cancellation Policy: 30 or more days in advance: full refund; 29-14 days in advance: 50% cancellation penalty; 13-0 days in advance: 100% cancelation penalty; no-shows: no refund.
    We ask each registrant to provide either an e-mail address or a fax number, as you will receive your confirmation letter and supporting information by one of these two ways. If an administrator in your office is submitting a registration, please ensure to pass along the confirmation package to the staff member who will be attending the training.
    NO CONFIRMATION PACKAGES WILL BE SENT VIA REGULAR MAIL, UNLESS SPECIFICALLY ARRANGED WITH OUR OFFICE.
