At the age of five, my father was in a near fatal logging accident in the Adirondacks of upstate New York that changed my family's path forever. Watching how this single accident impacted so many lives, not just my father, but also his brothers who worked with him, my mother and my siblings, I knew from that moment in childhood I did not want anyone to have to experience the ill effects of how a single event could create such hardships for an entire family. My personal mission that has served me well as a beacon throughout my life, and which has allowed me to travel the globe connecting with people who love trees and safety, is to Inspire people to make a positive change in their own life so they can serve the next generation by sharing their knowledge and skills and by supporting those who seek to make a positive impact on people and the planet.
