Course Description

This course is designed to help participants understand trees and will introduce modern pruning techniques and terminology. Natural target pruning will be taught, demonstrated, and practiced. Tree biology, physiology, structure, and dynamics will be introduced. Pruning tools and equipment will also be discussed.

Applicable Standards

This course meets the ANSI/ASSE Z490.1 Criteria for Accepted Practices in Safety, Health, and Environmental Training as well as ANSI A300 Part 1.
