Course Description

Lightning is one of nature's most powerful forces and can pose a serious risk to trees and the people and structures surrounding them. Participants will be educated in the process of determining which trees should be lightning protection candidates as well as industry best practices for installing single ground rod, multiple ground, and horizontal grounding systems. This course involves coaching and hands-on, practical scenarios.

Applicable Standards

This course meets the ANSI/ASSE Z490 Criteria for Accepted Practices in Safety, Health, and Environmental Training as well as ANSI A300 Part 4.
