Spar Pole Rigging


Course Description

The Spar Pole Rigging module is designed to educate tree care workers in regards to the physics involved in negative rigging. Attendees will receive training in specific techniques and tools to safely dissipate the forces along negative rigging systems. Advantages and limitations of rope and hardware configurations are examined and analyzed in the course. This course includes coaching and hands-on opportunities in practical scenarios.

Applicable Standards

This course meets the ANSI/ASSE Z490 Criteria for Accepted Practices in Safety, Health, and Environmental Training as well as ANSI Z133 and OSHA 1910.269.



ISA and CTSP Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available for these trainings
