Course Description

Preservation Techniques of Old Growth Trees examines a tree’s candidacy for preservation and determines which techniques are best suited for the tree and its environment. This course provides instruction and field demonstration around assessing risk and tree viability, exploring urban environments and trees, ensuring climber and aerial lift operator safety, and conducting structural assessments.

Applicable Standards

This course meets the ANSI / ASSE Z490.1 Criteria for Accepted Practices in Safety, Health, and Environmental Training.
